COUNTRY HOMES ADD A LITTLE SPARKLE AT STONELEIGH AS THEY LAUNCH THEIR FIRST SINGLE UNIT LODGE
PERFECT FOR COUPLES
THE LOFT (42' x 13')
A spacious and luxurious single unit lodge designed as the
perfect getaway for couples, The Loft is the first single unit leisure
lodge Country Homes have launched, demonstrating their increased
commitment to working closely with parks to get a specific home to meet
a particular market.
A real talking point at Stoneleigh World of Park and Leisure
Homes due to the slightly raunchy interiors, The Loft showed 'shades of
grey' appeal and a definite bit of sparkle perfect for a romantic
retreat. Featuring prominently in lodge is the airy front aspect with
French doors and a large full height boxed window, perfect for making
the most of great views.
This luxurious lodge is a response to a potential gap in the
market identified by Neil and Peter Morris of Elm Farm Country Park near
Their feedback based on selling lodges and static caravans they'd
sold suggested there was a need for a lodge suitable for a couple
rather than a family - a ‘step up' from the static caravan and without
compromising on luxury.
Country Homes' managing director Peter Berwick met Neil and
Peter on the park to view current stock, look at the plots available and
get a feel for what might be required. The brief he returned with
was for a spacious single unit lodge with a bright, modern feel
allowing lots of light in. Peter and Neil visited the factory in
Suffolk to work on the specification and plans further, and visit to a
local bistro with provided a flash of inspiration perfect for the lodge
décor. The wood panelling and furniture had the exact grey and black
tones they were looking for and back at the factory the team went
through many options to incorporate that into the scheme which works so
successfully in the final model.
The kitchen has a black, glossy, modern apartment feel with
top of the range fittings achieving the same high standard as seen in
many twin lodges. That high quality theme is continued throughout,
creating the perfect environment for couples to enjoy quality time
together as an escape from busy lifestyles. The double bedroom has
spacious walk in wardrobes ready for speedy unpacking, and a study has
been incorporated to make the switch from everyday life seamless,
making breaks really easy without worrying about being unable to fire
off the odd email or surf the net if needed. The Loft displayed at
Stoneleigh is a 1 bedroomed version with a study although plans for a
two bedroomed version are also available to view at Stoneleigh.
Peter Berwick at Country Homes said; "We're very proud of The
Loft, and always enjoy working closely with customers in this way - it
is a great way of achieving wonderful results which really ‘hit the
spot' with buyers. Our ethos is to go above and beyond a level of
service park owners will have experienced before. That makes the
process really enjoyable for everyone concerned, and ensures they get
exactly what they are looking for at the end of the process - a home
with solid appeal to their target market."
Speaking on behalf of Elm Farm Country Park Neil Morris said;
"We really enjoy working with Country Homes, the quality of the product
is fantastic and they definitely interpreted our brief really well with
The Loft - the result is stunning"
